Sandbox means you've been de-indexed for violating some Google TOS, guideline or policy.

Easiest way to check it is to head over to Google and do a search for your domain/url name, www(dot)yoursite(dot)com, then hit search.

If you're still showing up, you're not de-indexed.

i am not sure but the term is used for google adsense from where the user can check what types of ads will be seen in the website and if they can't see any ad there, then probably their domain may be blacklisted... hope I am right and it helped you

The term sandbox is used in the SEO/web marketing community in reference to being de-indexed. It is used by Google to reference the test environment where they redirect select user groups during testing for an algorithm change.

as somebody told you above that just type your website in google. if it produce results and your website can be seen there then your site is not de indexed.
