Aged domain indexed but not ranked

Hi,

one page of my new purchased aged domain got indexed 2 days ago for a super low competitive keyword.

(allintitle: 4.570 results, 77.800 results in quotes)

But it is not even ranked in the top1000 yet.

Normally when i get indexed for those super easy keywords i always land in the top10.

Onpage is optimized. H1 Tag and 1% keyword density.

So i am just wondering what is going on here. Any help is appreciated.

    Could it be that the keyword is actually more competitive than you think? I dont think the fact that 4.570 websites mention the keyword says all about the level of competition. Besides its only 2 days since the post got indexed, it's too early to think it wont get ranked. Would give it another week at least.

    Try to update some new content as well,
    Google love fresh content, keep Google recrawl your site and crawl your quaity content to make you rank faster.
    After EDM Google Panda update with those poor quality content and no fresh content been punished badly and not being rank at all .

    Did you do some offpage optimization like building links or commenting on the blogs.

    Or you only use the onpage optimization methods like you mentioned in the first post!

      Top10 has an average pagerank of 1 and 5 backlinks per page.
      This keyword is so ridiculously easy, there should be no problem at all to appear in the Top100 instantly.

        Yet you dont

        My guess, something with the site is wrong and keeping it from ranking.

        Are you sure there is no spammy links on it?

          Yeah, i got it from godaddy auctions, it is a 4 years old domain and it has no backlinks at all.

            I would use webmaster tools and ask Google to re-consider domain since you are a new owner.

    Number of search result doesn't determine competitiveness of the keyword it depends upon whom you are competing with if your competitors have x amount of backlinks and you have not that amount then you will not place higher than your competitor until you out perform his numbers.

    Indexing is easy, I have 6 months old domain and content is indexed in minutes but I didn't get good ranking for the keywords.

    You should check the website in the archive.org wayback machine to make sure the domain is actually clean and that the previous owners weren't doing anything shady. Just because you got it from Godaddy.com doesn't mean it's a clean domain.

    Revised your On-Page Campaign that includes fresh Keywords and Contents. put some muscles on your link. remember not too much link, what will do you with 47k backlinks if you're only getting 2k of referrals from them? get fresh links where you can get a referrals, also keyword relevancy to your page. one reason of not ranking well is the relevancy and competition. you can use long tail for these.

    If you think you have done well and still not getting any ranks, you need to have a look at your keywords and possibly change them. Also you could do a bit more SEO, if you haven't done much of it.
