Do blog posts ranking higher as they get older?

I have a number of blog posts ranking higher every now and then. I have a lot in the top 5 pages. Only 1 post on top of Google page , ranked 3, I am posting once every 2 days too so there is always content being added to my blog regularly.
Also i am using webmasters too.

What do you think?

    Ever notice that people who spend money on WSO, memberships and courses, are always complaining about being broke and not making any money ?

    They should have bought ASSETS instead.

      Yeh I no but do they generally rank higher of age?
      I have been told this.
      Let's say I didn't do link building, would they fall quickly?

    It depends on your content, does it provide value to its user even in the long run? If it does, it probably will. But if the content is just some general stuff and get outdated, it probably wouldn't matter even if it is new or old.

    Always think in terms of providing value to your readers in the long run ... that will help you rank.

    Once you get your page ranked in the search engines, I don't think you need to do anything else except to get new pages all the time. Write new content.

    If one of your blog posts gets page 1 on Google, then you pretty much just let it run on auto-pilot. If you want to get more pages ranked high then just take an example from your page that ranks high and use that to build more pages.

    Kind of like a rinse and repeat process.

      Yeh thanks, I have a few pages ranking in the top 3 pages of google. I do have a lot more ranking in the top 3-8 pages, I'll just keep writing as I intend to do Do some friendly link building every now and then
