Are you a newbie blogger ? If yes , then try to write good contents first and try to do all the SEO in the content. I mean on page SEO. Off page SEO are too much boring and time consuming.

Try to use sensible keywords
Use Headings , sub headings minor headings
Use meta title and meta description and meta keywords
Ping your contents by free ping services.
That's it. These all are On page optimization. And most importantly your content should be useful.

If you have enough time to do SEO after publishing an article then you should do that. Most of the time I don't get time to do Off page optimization. And Are you talking about building backlinks by paying ? It is also okay if the backlinks look natural and relevant to the site or the post. If the content is good and high quality then different sites give backlinks spontaneously. Thanks

What type of SEO tutorial do you need? Video tutorials or text format tutorial. I have both of them. For you as a new comer, you can google for it. There are lots of websites, they wrote nicely on it. Here, I prefer a website for you -

The best tutorial is doing. Test and see for yourself. You CANNOT learn SEO out of a book or overnight. Its like you can learn recipes for cooking but thats not how one becomes a chef.
