What is the relation between HTML5 and SEO? why i should implement it?

    There is a lot of debate around the web about HTML5’s impact on SEO. Some would say that it will help your rankings while others say that it won’t make a difference. I tend to be in the latter camp. There is not really going to be a specific programming language that is the right one to use to increase your rankings. You should look at it from the standpoint of how you use any particular language to improve your rankings in search.

    The web might be moving towards HTML5, but old school HTML still ranks in the SERPs just fine. Even pages with text in HTML tables still rank in the SERPs in 2012.

  • HTML means hyper text markup lanuage.its contain images,tags.Tag also improve yhe site structure and ranking.SEO means search engine optimization.its contain two types that is off-page and op-page.both are very effective.

    • html5, as recently as a few months ago was the next big thing.
      I even touted it over a year ago (or more).

      It was never going to do much for SEO anyway. It was going
      to make your listings, maybe, in google, standout a little better.
      But you still had to get listed...

      Problem is, a little thing exploded on the way to the forum.
      Smartphones, tablets, social, and the whole "mobile" thing.

      Combined, they killed html5.

      Anyone in this thread who is touting html5, just is not with it.
      Maybe that's the problem with the lot of you. You don't read,
      research, or keep up to date. Html5 has been discussed recently,
      across the web, as DOA.

      I'll even be more specific. Apps have made it obsolete.

      But, I'll bet most of you are in the market for a great desktop PC, too.

      It's all related.

      Many of you are like, 1-3 years behind, if not more.

    I don't think HTML5 is in any way dying off, people are still buying boat loads of themes/templates all built with HTML5. All the modern web browsers are supporting more & more HTML5 tags. Even Internet Exploiter is trying to support HTML5.
  • It won't make a difference. We've ranked BLANK sites for competitive terms just to prove that it can be done - and we use those case studies to close deals!

    We also have done fun stuff like rank a law firm's website #1 for "printing" in his city, again to prove it can be done, and get the deal closed.

    SEO is all off-site, no matter what kind of drivel you're hearing from the "gurus" these days.

    Really I don't care who uses what but HTML5 isn't last years news, like I said all the major browsers are moving in that direction. Even the slowest of the giants (Microsoft) has built their own site with HTML5, they resisted, eventually they gave in.

    Even with the browsers moving towards HTML5 they still support old school HTML (why wouldn't they). I don't care about apps, or horseshoes (what the?), HTML5 is steadily growing in popularity with web/devs. for building websites. Take a gander at major theme/template sellers & their demo source codes, it's trending towards HTML5.

    With that said, I could care less about HTML5 as far as SEO (really).

  • Our general strategy is to wait to see how content is marked up on the web in practice and to adapt to that. If we find that more and more content uses HTML5 markup, that this markup can give us additional information, and that it doesn’t cause problems if webmasters incorrectly use it (which is always a problem in the beginning), then over time we’ll attempt to work that into our algorithms….
    HTML5 is still very much a work in progress, so it’s great to see bleeding-edge sites making use of the new possibilities
  • HTML 5 going to replace those media & flash content that unable to crawl and understand by Google.
    That is why people HTML 5 came with a importance source for SEO. Google love content and and they would like to know how related your site towards the keyword. That is why you need HTML 5 to replace those source that unable to crawl or define by Google.
