Is there still a vlaue to bookmarking and pinging? If so what are the most popular sites nd tools these days?

  • Not really. Done with abundance, the result can lead to an unnatural linking penalty from google. This is not a quality minded strategy.

  • I think they can contribute to an overall balanced link plan. The goal is to create your links that they appear to be a natural way they would develop. If all of your links were from this source, that certainly would not be natural.

    • It still depends on you niche or the marketability of the product. Make a plan that is all related to your category. What worlds on other warriors might not work on you. So you have to do it also on your own while the WF will be your guide whenever you need us.
  • Don't overdo it. Also, don't have the same number of bookmarks for your every post. Make it look like real people share your content.

    • I think you read the OP wrong. He is talking about social bookmarking (delicious, stumbleupon, digg, etc..)
