If I get a backlink from a site from the 10 ten will I rank #1?

I have a domain ranking #3 for my main keyword, I also have 3 other domains in that niche but none of them are ranking in the top 10 the next closest is ranking on page 20 but I never do any SEO for it but it has a page rank of 1 and is about 2 years old now. I am wondering if I place a backlink for my #3 site to one of my other domains will that other domain shoot up to #1 since there both in the same niche? I have read that a niche related backlink is more powerful then non niche related links and I am looking for a way to secure #1 ranking. Any help would be appreciated. Basically I want to know if I use that #3 ranking as a push to secure #1 ranking for another site will that work?

    That one backlink alone will not push your site up to #1. It will indeed help, but you will need to create many more high quality backlinks in order to achieve a first page, or #1, ranking in google.

    It will help for sure. You just need to watch how you ranked that first domain and what backlinks were built for it, can be imitated for the other domains.

    Don't do that if you are not sure.You probably will hurt your ranking for most of your sites.If you use the same who is information and the same C class, you may see no effect or even hurt your ranking.That is because google may see you link your site from your other sites.

    The next question is how to get these links.Keep in mind that google may think that the links is paid if you get it from the footer for example.The best way is to get it as a link in ablog post.Maybe blog roll are good too.

    If all the sites have the same DNS, then Google will know that they are all your sites and value the backlinks less.
