I promise I don't mean it rudely in any way, but the honest answer to the question you're asking is "It's not going to make any difference to you". You're in the "internet marketing niche" yourself, as a newbie with no successful experience of internet marketing or making money online. You're depending on SEO traffic. You're not building a list. I'm not trying to put you off, but simply to offer some truth and reality, here: you need a Big Strategic Rethink, not to try continuing what you're trying to do now, with the deck so firmly stacked against you in every possible way. Sorry!!

I'm reasonably perceptive, and I'm not insensitive, and I know posts like this are uncomfortable for you, and I apologize for that. But I'm afraid "hoping that they turn out to be mistaken" isn't going to get you anywhere, and there are reasons for that. It's not really even going to get you any "useful experience for the future".

There are lots of people here (and I'm one of them) who are willing to try to help you, when you're willing to try to help yourself, too. Don't be offended. Have a good Christmas and a Big Rethink about what you're trying to do, and how, and why?

Google Panda is an additional algorithm filter to detect spun and unreadable content. Your site not ranking has little to do with Google Panda.

No one knows for sure how Google's algorithm works entirely but from owning hundreds of successfully ranking sites, I'd estimate 80-90% of a site's ranking is based on 3rd party links to your website. If you're not ranking, your competitors more than likely have a lot more quality links to your site than you do.

A good place to start is sharing your content on social sites like reddit, digg, stumbleupon, facebook, twitter, etc. If your content is interesting enough, it may form the beginnings of you getting your readership to link to your site.

Unfortunately building links is a really loaded discussion but it should point you in the right direction on what your next steps are.

Forget Google and all its animals. Do what you think is right for your business.

Don't enter into a saturated niche
Do smart keyword research (go after keywords that get at least 1,000 monthly searches,low competition)
Create unique content
Mix in social backlinks (they justify your other backlinks)
Creat epic content
