Just wondering if I buy backlinks from fiverr, will it help my ranking or hurt it? What do you warriors think I should do to get a pagerank of 1?

    No.

If you buy them - be prepared for Google to ignore your site.

Buying links and 'manipulating page rank' are both things which Google expressly state they will punish a site for.

So if you're buying random links just to increase your link count - you're doing both.

Same with unnatural links of any kind. Better remove URLs from forum sigs, never blog comment (with your link) and don't bookmark ever again!!!!

Link building of any kind is what google is trying to end... because it 'manipulates SERPs' and 'games the system'.

Natural links are okay, so if some random blogger decides to put your link in an article on his blog, you are probably safe.

It depends on which service. There are people who will find decent page rank blogs in the same niche as your site who are accepting guest posts. Submitting high quality guest posts (ie., for actual human readers AND keyword-coded) to edited (instead of autopost) blogs can result in good quality backlinks. Doing this on your own can be very time intensive. Fiverr provides the affordable labor.

As for services that blast your link to hundreds of sites so you can get tons of backlinks quickly. I'd stay away from those. Penguin recently got updated and it's not a pretty picture. I don't see Google easing up anytime soon.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[7515627].message }}
  • I agree - never outsource your backlinks.

    Unless you outsource your SYSTEM.

You can outsource a system where you are in control of the quality of links, where they are, the 'manual-ness' of them, etc.

But any 'automatic' backlinking system is 'automatically' Penguin unfriendly.

If you ARE to set up a system, make sure it is RULE based, and your outsourcers follow those rules as backlinking needs to be natural. (Or attempt to LOOK natural)

So have actual humans do it.

Please DO NOT buy any backlinks from fiverr! You will regret it when your website gets sand-boxed!

Spending $5 buy backlinks might seem like a good idea for the price but you will spend $500 trying to fix it when your site gets slapped by Google!

If you have made up your mind to buy backlink service from fiverr, then concentrate on reading Gigs description (also reviews if it have any) before ordering. It will save your website from any future casualties that may occur because of backlinks.
Many fiverr sellers offer 'Junk' backlinks which can only harm site ranking!

) More than 50 percent of the people that answered, sell services in their signatures....

Fiverr is such a HARD competition for them. LOL

        Throw mud, in FIVERR Services....

Fiverr has a lot of Bad Services of SEO.....but SO MOST OF THE GUYS that have signatures on WF with their websites of seo services, but the difference is that they Charge More.

Come one, ok....judge a service all day, but don't just say stuff like DONT BUY FROM FIVERR, that is bu$#%&T. You could be more REAL if you would recommend to be careful what service you buy.

There are a lot of Great Gigs on Fiverr, but SEO EXPERTS claim that they are still BAD, but LET ME TELL SOMETHING........:Most of the guys dont have time or/and hundreds of dollars to spend for buying content, high quality backlinks with High PR, to create their own private networks, to hire people to do the work that they cant or dont want,......and SO ON.

Give Buyers High Quality backlinks with High PR from aged domains and etc......at 5 bucks and PEOPLE will Buy it, if you sell it at 100$ people will can't BUY it, so they LIMIT THEMSELVS on their Financial potential.

The problem is that a Big Part of the people that buy Gigs DONT KNOW SEO, and here is the BIG problem when they choose a service.

And so they make the mistake, buy a bad service and use it directly to their main website, and after that they see a drop in the search engine, and they come to WF and say FIVERR IS A SCAM....etc......

Well people, learn a bit of SEO before buying a service on Fiverr or on any other places, because for example if you have Diabetes and you go to the market to get something to eat, you must not buy Sugar.....buy an apple.

And buying a bunch of crap links that are automatically done by software (which is why people sell them for $5) is still a bad idea. Just because you don't have money doesn't mean you have to use bad marketing techniques.

So many people come here and want to get everything for free and then they cry when they get bad results.

          You can't have everything.

You need time or money. If you don't have money you will need a lot of time - you can't have quick results and build a big business without time. If you are desperate for quick results - spend money. If you have no money and you want quick results - you are crazy and need a reality check.

Don't hate people for saying spend money on good quality services for your business - if YOU don't have money that's not their problem it's yours.

You are a good Seo Im sure, but too bad that you act like a angry noob. (anyway my tone is "casual" if you think I am angry or sh^t, I am just trying to show some things in my replays, but you are not fair play)

I never said that People should not spend money on high quality services, I SAID and REFFERED that there are a lot of people without money and that dont want to spend time (mostly they just test the SEO thing or dont know SEO), and they choose to use services with their financial capabilities and to be casual.

Its easy to say,......SPEND A LOT OF TIME TO MAKE MONEY.

So easy to say theories, so easy to say a lot of things and turn back to the reality.

Not all the people want to spend 12 hours daily to do manual SEO because of their reasons. Everyone who started with low income knows what hard work and dedication it takes.

You personally would be more helpful if you would show an alternative for this type of buyers, some "good" gigs for them to buy , not to say WELL BUY THIS Expensive SEO SERVICES OR IF NOT, Just do HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.

If you just say dont buy, most of the persons will still want to experiment FIVERR becasue it is very attractive for a noob, and saying dont buy will not bring any benefit for them.

Sorry if you didn't like my reply. If you knew me - you would realise that what you are calling "an angry noob" response is not an emotional outburst by me, it's just me cutting through the crap and trying to get you to talk about the core element of your position.

I'm sure I am probably guilty of posting sometimes without all the detail that some people would like - however, if you take a look at some of my other 9900 posts - I'm sure you can dig up some where I offered a LOT of information and in many cases about the detail of how to get things done, so please don't get the wrong impression and think that I only post one-liners telling people what not to do.

Fiverr gigs can be very good value, if you pick the right gig (Tip: Look for PageRank of the page your links are rather than just link volume).

If you are concerned about getting penalised, try some backlink gigs on an experimental page on a site that you don't care about and see what happens.

Just be warned it may take several months for the page's PageRank to increase.

I very rarely buy links on Fiverr that directly point to money sites, but I do buy gigs in an effort to increase the PR of tier 2 and tier 3 links that point to the money sites.

I would refrain from buying Fiverr backlinks because they are probably automated and full of copied/spun content.

If you haven't been penalized yet, you will be in the future.

That is why I provide high quality contextual links that are manually created with relevant content. This is what Google wants in the search results which makes sense.

Getting tired of these threads now. You could have used the advanced search feature to see that this has been answered many times over.

But anyway...yes they can be worth it. You just have to find the right gigs/service providers. I use them quite a lot for my smaller sites. And for all those bashing it saying to stay away, I just say more for me and my sites lol

Never buy back links to promote your website because your efforts will be wasted as Google will definitely ignore your website until you ask for reconsideration. It is best to work really hard to get high quality back links. Do it manually, it may require a lot of your time and efforts but at least you are sure that you are getting high quality backlinks.

Fiverr is just a platform where you will find different kinds of service providers. The onus is upon you to figure out what backlink types you should be going for and who to buy services from. Go for quality services which could mean getting a handful of links that are of higher quality instead of expecting to have the best of both worlds by getting thousands of low quality links for a fiver.

Your website PR is 1 only. PR 1 website cannot have many back links. That will cause your SERP drop. You must focus on the authority of your back links, and quality of your website.

Your website target search engine also very important.

You will find 2 major opinions about this subject.

1 - Don't do it - they will hurt your site.

This is obviously a sweeping generalisation, based on the fact that it's almost impossible to get any decent amount of work done for $5 - this means that 'most' of the SEO related fiverr gigs tend to be noobies with spamming tools selling mass linking services to people who don't know any better than to buy them.

There are (of course) some seo related things which you can get done for $5 which are fine. Things like getting your video uploaded to sharing sites, having your press release distributed for you etc..

2 - Fiverr is great, I don't get why people bash it.

This is usually from people that do not yet understand the harm that bad seo practices (especially link building) can do to a website.

Sometimes it's only when they see their website disappear from Google or get a warning notice from google that they realise the harm those cheap linking services did, but then it's often impossible to "undo" the links that such services provide (because they're push button spam software links).

Then there are the other people who do know what they're doing and use Fiverr for the 'good' things which you can get done.

I love fiverr but I would never advise someone who doesn't understand SEO to get seo gigs there.

I just want to add some last couple of things and I am done:

-A lot of people that sell seo services at lets say for example 50-100 bucks, buy from fiverr to do their work and make profit!

You must be informed when you go in a place to buy something, and you don't have a clue about that service or about that service provider. It is easy to get fouled by a fiver gig or by a website of seo services.

I personally know a couple of guys (that are also my friends) who write on fiverr, and they do a pretty good work for 5 bucks. People that just put this type of services in the same place with all the bad stuff don't think that the great sellers that really try to make money and provide good services will suffer because of this widespread negativity.

yes - they just want their quick cash for pressing a button in their software - easy money.

There are a LOT of people offering great services, but most of them are not selling SEO services.

I buy a lot of Fiverr gigs, but not for SEO.

What more do you want as evidence that fiverr sellers suck at SEO?. They don't even depend on their own dog food links to get business. they have to take four dollars and place their offers on a third party site.

To your own website - no never. To an authority site with your content on it i.e. youtube, squidoo, amazon...I say fiverr away.

Do you think some1 on fiverr will do all his best to help your website for only FOUR bucks?!? You could use it for something REALLY small -> like article writing or do-follow blogs to be found for you (but NOT some1 else to work on your SEO!)

The arguments about whether you get good, bad, or ugly stuff
on fiverr misses my main point which I neglected to restate.

I would never open up MY money sites to the knuckleheads on
      fiverr.

You don't know what you are getting.

If I want to bet 4 bucks, I'll do the daily double or buy
      some lottery tickets.

got one of my websites sandboxed 2 years ago, i had it on result #3 for a top ranked gambling keyword, i did the seo/backlinking myself + few bought services (NOT fiverr).. after months of competition for the 2nd place, i went into "dumb**** mode" and bought 20k profile backlinks on fiverr, month later = site sandboxed. Now 2 years later, still standboxed. Really don't buy backlinks there, if you want to buy something that isn't in a retarded amount (10-20-30k) just go for something like 10 web2.0 articles with anchor and pinging. For the price thats reasonable if you are lazy!

I wanted to chime in here for a sec on proof of work I had done. @Andyhenry....our very own WF has flaws and we must be careful. I was utilizing a service on our WF here and found out that the source they were using were the one and only "fiverr" source. Paying $250 for a service and they paid them $5 bucks per month for my work. Did it work....yes my rankings went up within 5 months to spot number 3 on the first page of google for my chosen keyword. I say this to say....someone found the diamond in the rough and capitalized on it big time because they are so reputable on here and everyone purchases from them at the drop of a new WSO or service launch! Just all be careful.........

They can be good but just point them at your tier 1 not your money site

Most of the guest post on there are garbage but I have found a few good ones.

It's just a matter of asking for the domain and seeing their link profile to see if they
are any good. This is very time consuming.

You will hardly find backlinks for your niche (considering you are asking for lovely marijuana). However if you think you found good gig (which is really very rare and hard to find), try to negotiate about adding a bit more quality and ask for examples of their work before you decide upon purchase. Fiverr gigs are used to be found on this and other IM forums repackaged and resold, so forget about other stories. Gigs will have quality that you negotiate, that's your starting point (considering you know what quality is...)
