Paying for SEO?

I am thinking about paying for SEO, well not now but maybe in the future, Anyone care to nudge me into a nice direction? Reason is both of us have no time to actually do it ourselves but some money is starting to roll in now on this website

Looking for something cheap yet effective, gain us some more hits naturally and hopefully build up and up from that, money raised money spent on growth, hopefully grow website more and earn more money!

    SEO changed A LOT this year. Link packages, wheels etc. simply don't work anymore.

    You need to spend money to make money...even in SEO.

    Careful of the quality out there - if you are looking for cheap, it's likely the quality isn't the greatest so definitely perform your research.

    I like to gain popularity via forums, blogs, and social media as a way to grab organic traffic to my sites, which then increases my SEO ranking anyways

    If you don't have time, i recommend you try Linkwheel dot net.
    If you have time, search Google : List of .edu forums to build backlinks.
    I think we should build backlinks with anchor text keywords. That's enough.
    Also, you have to write unique contents. Wait for 1 month, and see the change!

    If you have the funds then I suggest outsourcing your SEO to a VA and have them post comments on relevant high PR blogs, write articles, press releases, etc. I see you're already working the guest blogger angle. Good job! Also have FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc. accounts for your site. That will help improve the authority and social proof. That's very important now in today's SEO world. You need to do this on an ongoing basis.

    Don't buy cheap, spammy backlink packages. This will only get your site penalized or even deindexed. Think quality over quantity and consitancy.

    To do proper SEO it isn't so cheap anymore, you need a (small) network of high PR sites and what not, so sometimes it's smart to just outsource it when you're some local business for example.
