If you're not in the top 100, you're not worth anything. Focus on getting on the top 3 pages first.

Go to settings on your software and change to top 500 and then you can check i, you can use free version of rank tracking software to do it and by the way, if you are really serious about your site and it's ranking then focus on first couple of pages or mainly focus on proper white hat marketing like other professional companies does.

hello friend, there are several seo tool to see rank in 500+ pages, but almost all are paid. i can suggest you free tools like http://serp-checker.ezmlm.org/. You can also use Google webmaster tool search query option. it provides perfect data.

You can use a tool that will update your rank daily and it will always show where you are ranked for your keyword.

I use Rank Tracker and just go into the settings and change the number from 100

I don't think there is any need to check your rank in top 500. If you are not even in the top 100, it is useless to check the rankings further. Although if you just doing it for no reason, then it's OK.

500 as a little higher so you may have to go for paid tool, in free, it is hard to find.

Hit Ctrl-F

Enter your keyword

Now begin to type in your web url

If it turns red, you're not in the top 100. Go to the next until you find it in the top 1,000

And yes it does matter because you can't gauge your efforts until you know exactly where you are in the serps.
