Hi Guys,

I currently have around 200 visits a day to my site. It's a small music site Percussion | Percussion Music | Percussion Instruments. This time last year I was at about 27 a day. I have followed many guides online, setup facebook, newsletter subscription etc but now feel I need a push.

Ideally I could do with 1000 a day as my next target. If anyone could give me further advice / what sort of budget would be appropriate for SEO?

    1)It all depends on the keywords you are going to target.
    2)Are you going to hire someone else to do things for you ? SEO company ?
    3)Are you able to find good linking sources ?

    Pure white hat SEO is going to cost you 200+ a month and resulting in 50-100 quality backlinks per day + a bit of your effort + content. Good spun content can cost you from 20-50 bucks. That will give 150-200 unique articles which is going to be approved by moderated article directories if speaking of quality. Everything else is just a matter of time when you are going to hit #1 spot

      Keywords probably all percussion instruments, I am happy to employ SEO Company but not sure I have good linking sources. How many months would you say 100 keywords would take? Is there anyway to budget?

    hey mate. You look like your have good backlinks 2500 this year and 20k in last 5 years. You have good differentiation in you anchor text.

    You need to do more on page. Internal linking to your other pages on you home page. Plus you going after to many kws in you website title. Instead focus on pages with different related keywords target more kws.

    Hope that helps. Plus maybe a big call to action to tell people what the site is about when u land on it.

    Do keyword research and put the keyword which has gets you lot of traffic. Keep on building the links with high page rank sites. Promote your site through social networking. Run a campaign in facebook, your site will get frequent visitors.

    Adding to what others have already mentioned, it would be better for you to switch your focus from just ranking keywords, to getting traffic. Of course organic traffic as a result of SEO efforts should be your ultimate target, but you will be better off spending time on building a brand that can stand any Google updates. Since you're in the music industry, you can start with building a decent YT channel, soundcloud presence and anything else that can bring in decent referral traffic. Yes, you will need to spend some time at the initial part, but once it's done, it's going to be pretty much automated.
