I don't build links to my money sites anymore, I just build them to 3rd party sites and they still work well with the old 1WL. Getting tired of manually going in though and building the links. Any blog networks that work well that are reasonably priced? I know Brad and Matt callen keep pumping theirs but I'm not spending $300 per month.

What you need is to get in on a private blog network with 15-20 sites that charges you a smaller yearly fee.

I have PR4 blog network that is $750/year. Your link stays up guaranteed on powerful PR4 sites.

Have you ever considered making your own?

I know it can be fairly time consuming and a pain to set up, but it's probably the safest option at this point.

Actually your Op indicates you don't want to do either so you are stuck. You might think upwards of $200 is too much but since early last year every time a blog network takes on a client they take on a potential risk that could cost them thousands of dollar in deindexed domains. SO sorry $200-$300 is CHEAP.

I have a hard time explaining this to WF clients but your monthly fee does not even begin to compare to the cost of building that network for those who have big robusts ones and a lot of the time the very sites and owners themselves are security risks.

        A) They have sites no one not even their mother would link to so linking your network to them makes you sites an instant suspect of sold links.

        B) They conduct other Spammy SEO that telegraphs what they are into and make the network sites guilty by the association.

        C) they want link reports of where all your network is located from the very first month (I send those packing) with their links on it which they may very well take to Google's disavow tool if their sites suck and they don't rank because...

        D) they are fickle and think they should rank overnight so you cannot even count on their ongoing subscription and should they move on to a spammy service for quicker results they will again endanger your network but yet still cry if you take down the links to not be associated with.

this is why the best networks (as your OP indicates you are looking for - not the cheapest) are just for SEO clients and for WAAAAAAY more than $300.

We have to do two things with our prices -

        1) weed out the prospective customer who has no long term business model and will do nothing but use up our network and move on next month

        2) make enough income to offset the deindexing cost you may cause us.

So its matter of market and business realities that those advertising lower prices will either be inferior or out of business the next major sweep Google decides to make of Networks (and if you think after all the champagne that flowed after the last one they won't go in for an encore you are foolish)

I only recently offered straight SEO to people on WF and had to go in last week and raise my prices to just short of $500 a month because I STILL got a couple clients in those 4 security risk categories. Sorry but my very worse customers ever by far show up in the below $500 range. The guys above that have a business plan that is realistic and tried and true and they realize whats involved with SEO and business

The Truth is , though none of those advertising public networks will admit it, Sellers advertising their network to the masses of IM link package seekers are either buying inferior domains (to mix in with some good ones and faking out the real power of it ), charging enough (with high prices or high OBL) to buy back what they know they are going to lose or they are idiots about to go out of business (or perhaps just cashing out on the domains figuring they will collect enough before they get caught by Google or before you realize you have links paying for on deindexed sites).

The best network owners though can't be bothered with that rat race. In fact the best ones are run by SEOs who don't sell link packages or services but do Full SEO where the focus is ranking over months not link selling because that is where the money and the security of their network is.

Blog networks do not work any more unless you have your own private one.

Theres a bunch that "work". ALN/UAW/Article Ranks/traffic kaboom and a couple more...

Dont send them to money sites. At least one will be canned this year. Send them to total shitty sites, rank, show a ROI and then re-invest the money.

Do this fast enough you will make money quicker than google can penalize you or ban the networks.

For your main sites, build your own. Buy PR names from brokers or at auctions. Thats what i do and will continue to do all year.

we stopped using private networks as most paid sites bugged down after the last google update. It's surprising that people still want to use it now. Maybe it works in different ways for different people. Can't there be anything else new to improve seo on a site without this private blog networks?

    Hi,
Blog networks are really good if they are relevant to your niche. They can help you push your rankings up. Building links manually is the best thing to do right now with... google rolling out updates frequently.

If someone offer a link on a private network in a public forum like this , then its not truly private network. So consider building a network of your own ..

I absolutely concur. These 2 guys have ruined more sites than they have helped. Their networks are always inferior filled with spam gibberish. And they leave massive footprints that a blind man could see never mind Google.

Best bet is to build you own. A nice little group of 5-10 PR3s and PR4s will do you wonders and you will have total control. And with the anticipated Penguin updates soon to roll out, they will work even better.

I agree with this because I have only 4 PageRank 5 sites PBN, and my low completion keywords jump to no. 1 position. That's great.
