A lot of "Google occupy" types have spent alot of emotion and energy posting about Google's power in forums and have been hoping that the Antitrust investigation by the FTC would restore their sites to rankings but the news isn't looking good. Google seems to have secured a settlement that does little to help marketers. In fact absolutely nothing. Search Engineland gives a good review of what should soon be released by the FTC

There are other investigations so I guess some marketers will still wish and pray and argue but for those still hoping for a return to the old days my opinion is they will never come. Change your SEO tactics because it will not be Google who changes back to what was.
