  • What is the source of visitors?

    60% is not so bad.

  • Is there anything analytics could tell me?
  • if your visitors are from search engines then check search phrases they used. Probably they didn't find what they expected.
  • One keyword:

    web design liverpool
    visits 7
    avg duration: 00:00:15
    new visitors: 42.86%
    bounce rate: 71.43%

    • this is too low amount for any type of analytics/analysis. Check your bounce rate when you will have 100 or more visits.

  • First off, while I understand that you are anxious to improve conversions, I have to agree that your time would be better spent increasing traffic, at least for the time being. 94 visits in a month is just not enough to make any meaningful analyses.

That being said, there are a few things that stand out to me that could be fixed.

Your rotating gallery is very unexciting. None of those slides make me want to stick around on the page. The very first slide that has logo and contact information is hard to read (orange on orange leading to dark grey on dark orange) and, again, just plain boring. Your visitors will figure out how to contact you if they're interested in your services... Your first impression should be spent on actually making them WANT to contact you, not telling them how.

Also, from a pure design standpoint the rotating gallery seems to stick out about five pixels to the right of the top menu. The first slide is also taller than the rest of them, so the slider resizes after the first rotation. Because of this the slider just generally looks kind of sloppy.

I think I would make the first slide link to a portfolio of your previous work. After all, that's what every single person visiting your site is going to want to see. I would also cut out the welcome paragraph ("Welcome to Pixel Creative...Choosing the right web design company...") so that you can have the features of your service displayed directly below the slider.

Also, do you have any testimonials? That would be a great addition I think.

I also see that you are linking to a couple other websites in the footer. Make sure those are rel="nofollow" if they're your own domains, as cross-linking to yourself is a HUGE no-no in the eyes of Google.

Now, if you want to get more traffic then I would recommend starting a blog. A blog will allow you to start getting repeat visitors, even if they're not initially buyers.

    So, to recap:

    • Clean up the slider.
    • Make the slides more interesting... Use them to sell your service, not just outline contact information and features.
    • Move the interesting elements up the page
    • Get testimonials
    • Start a blog

Above all, remember to sell the sizzle, not the steak!

  • The Bounce rate is not so bad.. Improve Keyword Optimization and get more visitors... Focus on conversions and traffic..not at bounce rate.. good luck..
  • Do any inbound or conversion experts want to look at my site, as the more feedback I get the better. I am also learning too
