Hey guys just had a question that came to me when I was thinking of a name for my next product. I want to create an informational product that is my own system, but is based on the system of a celebrity. Can I use their name, even to just show similarities, if I provide a disclaimer that this system is mine alone based on research of the celebs system and that they do not endorse or promote my product in any way. The only close example to what I'm talking about I could find is the following. "From Shadow Party to Shadow Government: George Soros and the Effort to Radically Change America" is a book by John Perazzo and David Horowitz, but discusses George Soros and uses his name in the title. Obviously they are writing about their ideas on politics and how Mr. Soros fits into that puzzle, but would Mr. Soros have to give them permission to use his name or conclusions drawn about him from factual data in their books?
Can I use a celeberty's name in my product title for seo/branding purposes?
