Adwords query

Hi Warriors,
In a adgroup, if have multiple keywords and multiple ads in the same adgroup, how actually is google going to select which ad to display for which keyword search ?...

I already tested normal keyword optimization and landing page optimization, but still i see non-relevant ads are displaying on keywords searched. Ex: Article Submission Service, and the Ad is displayed of Link Wheel.

Looks like Google is picking the keywords and Ads randomly from the adgroup.

Can anyone please advice.

    You are right, Google is showing your ads at random based on the keywords you have related to your adgroup. For this reason, it is incredibly important that all your ads in your adgroup be relevant to the keywords you have for them. If you have keywords that are different from your ads (or different enough that you don’t want certain ads shown for certain queries) you should create another adgroup and associate those keywords with it.

    As a rule, keywords and adgroups should be highly targeted meaning that no ad in your adgroup should be non-relevant to any keyword you have associated with that group.

    I got another confusion as below.
    If i have keyword Ex: "Outsource Affordable SEO Service",
    then will my ad display on Keyword: Affordable SEO Outsource Service ?...

    • What match type is the keyword? It won't if it's exact or phrase match. It might on broad match.
  • I just searched for it, you sure it wont show in phrase match as well ?... i guess it will show in phrase match.
