Adjust backlink strategy or cont. and wait?

Hi,
Started at 500+ ranked for my keyword. I've been building articles and 2.0's directing to my site, and hitting those with a lot of backlinks. I am now at the bottom of page 2, and completed another wave of my backlink campaign (60 articles/2.0's, then hitting those with links). Usually, doing this has bumped me up at least a couple of ranks, but it has been about 4 days now and nothing has happened. I am curious if you guys think I should just keep doing this or adjust something. Am I just not being patient enough? Kind of wondering why I'm not seeing any movement whatsoever. Thanks!

  • These 2.0s that you're linking from....are they brand new? Do you have any aged ones to get links from? Your results would be moving a lot quicker if the page you're getting links from:

    1) has PageRank (2 or above is best)
    2) is indexed in Google
    3) is cached in Google
    4) is at least somewhat aged.

    If all the backlinks you're acquiring are brand new, your waiting for Google to find and calculate those before conferring any benefit to your target page.
