High PR, Domain Authority = 1 sites

I found some sites offering high PR backlinks. But when I check the domain authority, it is "1".

How is this possible? When these sites give you a doFollow link do they pass good PR? Or are these some sort of spoofed PR?

  • The PR of those sites is fake.
  • You can check fake PR by searching info:sitename.com on Google. It should show the same domain, otherwise it's fake/cloaked/redirected.

    • The site has PR5, but Majestic SEO shows just 10 backlinks from 4 domains. But the info:sitename.com doesn't show anything unexpected.

      This is very strange!
  • FAKE PR! A lof ot them nowadays, just stay away and be sure to check EVERY time with different tools, because it is easy to make a website with PR 10 when the real one is PR1
