It is a nice thread name...isn't it?

I am so curious what you are expecting from it...:p

1. Follow the Ethical Techniques for SEO: all of the search engines have different terms and conditions. You have to follow all of these. You can see what of the SEO techniques are ethical and what are not.

How about that? Please share some other options with us...

This one sounds like nothing .. but believe me is much much more than this...

Keep digging on it and you will see the truth beaneath the words...

My favorite strategy is to invest more time into building traffic when I'm working on offsite optimization.

For example, I rank for a keyword that brings in 50 visitors a day to one of my smaller niche sites.

That practice was done solely with onsite optimization and "not so great" offsite optimization methods that took A LOT of time and even money.

    It's great to rank but...

I later began to focus on traffic.

Once I did this I have another website that ranks #1 for a keyword that is 6x more difficult, and I get nearly 150 visitors a day from that one keyword.

Now here's the kicker. The other site receives 0 traffic from other sources (only search engines).

The site that I focused on traffic, ranked #1 AND is bringing in nearly 400 visitors a day. The great thing about this is that I'm more involved, I have more fun doing it, and I've benefited greatly from it.

    Conclusion. Build traffic, not backlinks.

P.S. Yea yea yea, when I say build traffic, not backlinks, I'm saying to focus on traffic more than the backlink itself. Don't go out there just to build a backlink, go out there and build traffic to your site, which will build the backlink at the same time. Mindset is a huge factor in success.

Like, there's more than one? Maybe two? Baidu and foreign sites
notwithstanding. Baidu is one BIG unethical search site.

Google and bing do not have terms and conditions for SEO. They may
have guidelines that they wish you would follow, but one would hardly
    call them terms or conditions.

Why not just read google webmaster guidelines? That would just
    about cover everything.

What does ethical have to do with anything? Ethical has squat to
do with anything google does. It would be ethical for google to
not hide their earnings offshore. Youtube is full of unethical garbage.
    So are search results.

Ethical should never be part of any SEO expert's self imposed rules.

Having a sig link here could be seen by some as unethical. Spaming
under the guise of posting is rampant.

Best Buy hates that it's customers are unethical by patronizing
amazon. Ikea used slave labor. Chinese factories that make i-crap
are for the most part, low paid labor. Should google deindex amazon,
apple, and ikea? Walmart for bribing?

Like it or not, the internet is perfect for unethical people, places,
and things. And that is the beauty of it.

Paul i am pretty sure that you perfectly understood what i mean by those words...

As a matter of fact i have another rule that cross my mind ..or you can call it "trick" if you like. Everybody is looking for tricks, tips not for real things...

2.Write Good Quality of Contents: The second one Trick is to providing the visitors with useful information regarding the services provided by your company.

If you share useful content, they will visit often and share the contents with other friends. This is an efficient way to be popular in the internet market.

Thus you have to create the best quality of content while writing the contents in any article and tips on your webpage.

      Am i right or not?

White hat is the only sustainable long-term strategy. Black hat is not sustainable.
