HOW TO BUILD MY PAGE RANK ???

I'm working on a Mexican restaurant's website and its brand new and I'm trying to build up its PR. Can someone layout what factors "Most" contribute to building ones PR. .... Is it links, backlinks, (The Amount?) or is it how old your site has been online? I appreciate any answers because I need to use it on my own site as well. This restaurant site is the first one Hammond Restaurant I've done.

    Can it be you mistake "page rank" with Google rankings? "Page rank" itself could be entirely nonrelevant for the success of your site and earnings.

    If you really talk about "page rank", PR...you get PR from backlinks from other, high PR authoritative sites to yours.

    I'm a freelancer and have completed a lot of projects for my clients successfully and will share my experience in some simple steps.

    1. Keywords research
    2. Onsite SEO - It means, your website should mention the keywords that you researched.
    3. Offsite SEO - It means, other websites should mention your website.

    I have optimized my own website and a lot of websites of my clients using this method with great results. Onsite SEO and Offsite SEO has a lot of internal factors to work on in keeping the Google Panda and Penguin updates in your mind. Just do a google search about these factors and you will learn well what to do.

    Page rank isn't something that you can achieve at a goal, you need to get quality links, real high pr back links directly to your money site.

    In the real sense, PR has nothing to do with your earnings or ranking.

    Worry about it could just be a wild goose chase.

    Yes, PR1 to 3 is nothing but exceeding that becomes quite difficult.

    The most important factor that contributes to a site's PR is the quality of its backlinks. Get dofollow backlinks on pages with a high PR (preferably a PR of 6 or greater), and watch the PR of your site increase in no time.

    George and Peter have given you great advice.

    You are promoting a local business - you don't care about PR (PageRank). If however, you are saying PageRank but mean the position your site comes up in the SERPS - that's different.

    You should easily be able to rank well for a local restaurant with a decent site structure and content and some small but regular link building.

    PageRank is totally dependent on the quantity and quality of the incoming links to the webpage. It has nothing to do with the age of the website: It is true that there is a relationship between domain age and PageRank but this is purely because older websites have had more time to accumulate incoming links.
    There is no quick or easy white hat technique for building links. If you buy links, it is against Google's advice and if you are found out, your website may go out of Google's index.

    Question for everyone that was kind enough to to try and make some sense outta all this stuff .. Why do people in this forum (Warrior Forum) "Not this thread" tell or try to sell me all kinds of services ?? BUT WHEN I ASK THEM IF I CAN TALK TO PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS OR CLIENTS TO GET SOME FEEDBACK ON HOW GOOD THEIR WORK ACTUALLY "IS" ..... WITHOUT FAIL THEY SAY "NO" .... NOW THAT JUST RUBS ME THE WRONG WAY!!! If ur shat (SEO) was that damn good and successful, what are THEY SCARED OF ???

      Could you mention Hammond Restaurant or Hammond Restaurants a few more times on there? I only counted them on there 17 times.

      Yet the name of the place is on there 3 times.

      I have to be honest. That is one of the worst restaurant websites I have ever seen.

      Why in the world would you take the domain name you did instead of the name of the business? Whoever told you that you need to put a keyword all over the site like that and take a name like that for local SEO is clueless.

      Even if I found this page ranked #1, I would never eat there.

      I am not trying to be nasty here, but I would really take a hard look at improving the site, not as much for SEO, but just for marketability in general.

          Honestly, I would scrap the whole thing and start over. Look at the design of websites of other popular restaurants and emulate that. That site is just a blog, and not a very good one. It is not the website of a real business. Usually the front page of a restaurant site has pretty much all the relevant information a customer needs right there on the front page without visitors needing to scroll down or scroll down much to find anything.

          I see no address. No hours. The phone number should be a little more prominent. I would get rid of everywhere that it says 'Hammond Restaurant'. You should have the address on every single page, but at the very least on the homepage. It will help to rank locally.

          Also bistrostaqueria .com and bistrotaqueria .com are available. I would build the site on one of those. I would also buy the other one and redirect to the main site then. I could see people typing in the address both with and without the 's'.

    I think the home page looks ok, but the menu page has got to be cleaned up, and what about pictures of each dish on the menu page? This would be your selling point.... so sell it! Or links from the menu page to child pages for each dish that includes pictures. This would be good for people interested in take-out or for people that just want to know if the food looks good.


    Anyway, you said "tell me how ya really feel," so I did.

    Oh, and if you want to get PR just write a great article, maybe a recipe on a certain dish and I'll post it to my site. An article on my site will usually obtain a PR1 or PR2.

    Page rank doesn't matter. My main site is PR2 and has been for a year. I am outranking sites that are PR5 and we are targeting the same keyword. PR only matters for selling your site or getting a backlink from.

    There's a guy telling me that back links from low pr sites don't matter as long as you have a few high pr sites in the mix. He claims it will look more "NATURAL" that way. Is he full of crap or not ??

      The PR of a backlink is not an issue. Unnatural is just a buzzword for people
      trying to trick google.

      BTW: PageRank, no space, capital on P and R. It's a trademarked term.
      Page Rank may be common, but really means something other than google's
      PageRank. There may be some legal reasons for not wanting to write
      PageRank, but I can't think of any that would matter in this case. Probably
      those who think they know how to shmooze PR might want to not write
      it correctly.

      There are lots of reasons for wanting to increase PR. But it's only one signal,
      albeit one of the top. Anyone who says flat out that PR does not matter,
      heard that from a guy who knows a guy.

    It not that how long the website is online. It depends on the number of visitors and website popular in google ranking. If there is increase in backlink counts and traffic we will rank in goolge.
