Authority Site Back From The Dead!

Hi Ladies and Gents, I originally intended to give you all this tip at the beginning of this year but I've been busy.

This tip has single handedly brought my authority site back from the dead and out of the jaws of the pandas and penguins of the world.

Better late than never, right! Here you go:

When creating an authority website you should create a sister youtube account; all of this in one niche of course.

you then follow your tested keyword research & competition protocol and create your blog post around the keyword that meets your criteria. follow your tested ON PAGE SEO for that blog post and write a 500 to 700 word unique post.

SEO TAKES A BACK SEAT TO QUALITY AND VALUE!

THEN

Create a 3 to 5 minute video (screen cast or PowerPoint will do) about the keyword and use your tested youtube ranking protocol. Embed the video with your post. And have a link to your post in the description area of your video.

AGAIN, SEO TAKES A BACK SEAT TO QUALITY AND VALUE!

AFTER THAT, take that SAME keyword and create another unique post and have a webmaster in your niche post your content on his or her related niche site.

You can find many guest blogging opportunities in most niches on myblogguest.com .

Make sure you have 2 do follow anchor text backlinks on your guest post pointing back to your main site and the other one to your new blog post with the video.

What does this yield, you ask?:
  • high rankings
  • multiple traffic sources
  • Two forms of content into one
  • lower bounce rate
  • more authority
  • relationships in your niche
  • more opt-ins
  • more social sharing
  • and ultimately more profit.

If you are going to have any ads on your page make sure they are below the fold.

  • Thanks. It would be much appreciated if you give an example of the post and video.

    • cool, but your aren't asking me to reveal my niche here are you?

try it out for yourself - I'm sure you will like the results, point your google analytic guns at the page you create and watch the traffic for that page rise.

even if this tip doesn't pan out for you, you are essentially left with two pieces of great content that revolve around a targeted keyword and a relationship with a webmaster in your niche. Plus, lets not forget about the two niche related backlinks pointing back to your main site and an inner page.

      ENJOY!

The Penguin safe contents and Internal backlinks works fine for me.
As per Penguin content writing procedure:

Use the Primary keyword in the title only.
      Find out 4/5 secondary keywords
Use the secondary keywords in your Article/Blogs in place of the primary keyword.
If you have more than one page and using different contents on a similar keyword then link some keywords with these 2 Articles/Blogs which will help to create internal backlinks within your website. Google accepts it on priority.

All the above can help for instant ranking of your site.

  • Yeah ! that trick looks interesting to implement on. I will give it a try, but i don't think so that helps you in seo. It's just passing traffic, only then when you do guest blogging then it works to get some backlinks. Even though thanks for sharing.

    • eh? you don't think that dofollow anchor text backlinks from another authority site in your niche won't help you rank for a keyword?

      your joking right.

    That's a complete fail.

    • Thanks for the constructive opinion.

Again, let your content pyramid down to your ads. You could have one widget ad on the side above the fold. BUT for most of your monetization efforts keep it below the fold if your traffic is coming from the search engine pipe.

Forget what I say; Google doesn't want this either. Straight from the horses mouth:

  • Nothing wrong with ads above the fold. Just make sure it's not all ads.
  • take it easy Mickey & Yukon,

That's funny, why should I defend something I never said?

It seems i'm being miss-quoted now. This is what I said:

If you are going to have any ads on your page make sure they are below the fold.

When did I ever say "Google said they don't want Ads above the fold" ?

Clearly you don't understand the difference between "all," "most," "some," and "none"

Your not being misquoted, that's just wrong (bold text).

  • Great advice, I have yet to try making a video but I am seriously considering making a power point presentation. When you say authority site I understand how it becomes an authority but do they ever actually become a 2.0 or 3.0 etc site. Is there a strategy right from buying a new domain to building a high ranking authority site or do they all start with the same foundation.?

    • I can't say,

I remember, ppl use to buy old domains so that they could get a boost on authority.

I dont know if that still works now..

      best of luck
