Hello,

I have a website with CTR is only 0.6 - 1.5% (adsense) and I can not earn $ 1 per day . At the moment, I am using 2 ad units (300x250) at the top and middle content and 300x600 at the right sidebar.
I use the default color of adsense.
My website: wisdomteethpain-relief.com
What should I do to improve ctr ?
Thank you very much !

What about traffic? It may be possible that you don't have organic traffic or have fake traffic.
IMO 1.5% CTR is enough for adsense

CTR rate for adsense or Sales conversions? I asked the same question here about sales conversions and got a good response about understanding the buying cycle, especially for our product which has a very long cycle.

For Adsense I have a campaign with 11% CTR rate, achieved by focusing on narrow set of good keywords and high ad quality score. A good tip is I had a figure in my ad copy saying £200 off, when I removed that the CTR rate dropped 8%, of course I added the money saving back in and CTR rate shot back up.

If you aren't earning more than $1 a day at 0.6% CTR your not going to be earning much more at even 10% CTR, you obviously have very low performing Ads/niche/keywords.

Look at your site. Seriously. It is utterly beyond me how often webmasters don't look at their own sites and see how the texts meshes with their site.

    In particular:

    Look at the text color.
    Look at the background color.
    Look at the ad placement.

    Ask yourself:

Does the ad look like an ad? Or does it look like it's a natural piece of your site?

based on my personal test, 300x250 ad unit performs well. but as verial said : color, placement anda also traffic source should be analyzed.

low quality content page will make it lower. have u noticed ?

You can increase the CTR in the following steps:
    1. Target your visitors with appropriate advertising campaigns
    2. Place your ads in the optimal locations
    3. Consider bigger ads and see what effect that gives
    4. Try different frequency caps ensuring the ad is shown at least five time
