Hey
I have 5 different websites...all of them locted on the same server with the same Ip (shared server and ip).
Im trying to improve the rank only for 2 of the websites!
Do you think seperate them to 2 different host server will help me improve the rank?
They are both stuck on first spot page 2....
When Im creating backlink....some times Im putting 2 backlink for each site....It mean that sometimes on the same article I create 2 backlink to website#1 and website #2
And sometimes I just create 2 different articles and putting on each one only 1 backlink to each site.
What do you think?

  • just get more backlinks to those 2 sites. Moving them to different server won't make any difference..

    Its not a problem that Google see 2 website under the same account thst getting backlinks from the same websites every day?

  • IPs aren't a major factor as they were few years behind, thats because IPV4 is getting depleted..

    focus on link building, but do it smart - few links a day and diversified, also do it tiered, not only direct links to your main sites..
  • By tiered do you mean backlinks to the first backlink that go to the main website?
  • And tier 2 backlinks its ok or I need tier 3 backlinks?

    • diversity is the key nowadays, do some high pr and authority to the main site, do some tier 2, tier 3, tier 4...crosslinked and etc..

    It doesn't matter having multiple websites on the same hosting plan, if you think about most website hosting providers put hundreds of websites on the same server regardless.

    About you linking question, make sure each link provides unique quality content that is relevant to your website. As far as the tier 2 backlinks get some social signals & bookmarks pointing to those to increase their link juice.

    Also think about getting quality links from Press Releases, Web 2.0's, Guest blogs etc.
  • If you Move both sites into the same server ,i don't think it make any difference. just try to create quality backlink and Quality content is also responsible for Site Ranking.
  • you can make as much tiers are you wish..

    example:
    main site <- web 2.0 properties <- social bookmarks <- scrapebox & xrumer blast...

    the possibilities are endless..

    crosslinking example
    main site <- web 2.0 props <- SB blast
    social bookmarks to the web 2.0, xrumer to SB blast..
