Having multiple backlinks from one site?

Hi,
Is there any thing difference/advantage of

1. having 10 backlinks from one site ?
2. having 10 backlinks from 10 sites ?

In warrior i have seen peoples with 1000's of backlinks to there product/site Thats mean having multiple backlinks from same site is good?

  • The more link diversity (different types of links + links from different domains and IPs) the better.
  • Having 10 backlinks from one site is good, probably better than from 10 different sites, IF they are in context with some quality content, and that includes forum signature backlinks. It shows google that you are knowledgeable of the topic too.
