How often google changes websites placements in the search engines? I mean rankings, example you are in the 1 page and 5th number in google search results for a specific keyword. How often does this actually changes? Can someone explain it in details please?

I would say . . . continuously. Search engines are highly dynamic. Their algorithms are all based on information that in part changes all the time. So the results reflect those changes immediately.

All the changes happen automatically as soon as the search detects that a change has been made in or non accordance with it's mode of operation.

    Dear ChevyCam,

After the recent Google Algo update this is being happening very very frequently.

Again If your keyword is highly competitive then certainly many people are trying their best to optimize them. So, up & down keeps on happening.

On a daily basis Google has some or the other micro tweaks in their algo which affect you in some or the other ways

Again SERP differ location to location.

    Hope this helps.
