Will This Get Me Banned From Adsense? (screenshot Inside)

As you can see the small Adsense block is placed directly after the first paragraph...
The ad is not "spaced" away from the paragraph so I guess some visitors could mistake it for a link that's part of the article instead of an ad.

Also, there's the ellipsis after paragraph 1...
I'm not sure how Google thinks about that (I did not put it there intentionally but some of my articles have that).

Anyway, is this ad placement and the preceding ellipsis fine in the eyes of Google? Or am I asking to be banned?

IMO you need to add some space at the top/bottom of the Adsense Ad, then use a <hr> or a border to separate the Ad from the text/content. If you use a border it could be a very light color like the image border to the top/right.

Yes but the thing is that decreases the ctr. Also, is your opinion entirely your own or is it based on experience/knowledge of Adsense policy/banning incidents in practice?

How do you know it decreases CTR If you haven't already tested? If you had already tested on your own site I doubt you would be asking here on WF.

You should be placing Ads next to call to actions. If your trying to confuse traffic into thinking the Ad block is content, that's not a good idea.

BTW, I've been running Adsense for 6 years. I have no idea what banning incidents in practice is, maybe ask one of the guys that's been banned.

These are my opinions, If your not looking for opinions on a public forum maybe contact Google at:

Yes, you can be banned, because ads inside content is not permitted by google with current terms and conditions of Google Adsense.

That's complete nonsense. Google tells you to wrap content around ads,
and tells you how to do it.

Not inside content?!?! Where on earth do you people get your info?

A better idea would be to use a large 300, 336, 250, ad block in place
of the image, and wrap content. Just adjust the margins.

I never like to put ads that run into content. Not because of a ban,
but because I want the ad to stand out FROM content.

If you wish to use the same ad block in that position, a simple
solution would be to put a border around the ad. Done and done.

What about placing of google adsense text/image large or mid size rectangle ads in middle of the contents, aligning to left side. Is it against google t & c.

The whole idea of putting ads in content and getting banned is nonsense.

They have detailed guides on where and how. They know ads inside
        content get the most clicks.

That close to the text above it can be argued as possibly misleading and confusing to your site visitors. Check out Ad placement policies - AdSense Help
