Is it safe to manually submit main site to web directory?

Hi

I need your suggestion, is it safe to my main site, if i manually submit them into thousand web directory?

Or, is it better to do this just for web 2.0 site? like blogspot, wordpress, tumblr?

  • You can submit your main website to thousands of web directories, it may take a few days to a few weeks for all of them to get accepted or rejected by the web directories. And hence the back links won't look unnatural since they do not appear all at once

  • Make sure that where you place your link to be a quality place. It is better to place 20-30 good directories, than 1000 poor ones!

  • Instead of going for junk directories, find 25-30 quality directories and even niche related if available. These would benefit your site more.
