The famous google dance..I have not come across anything by which you can stop the dance and make the position of your rankings stable and I believe it is to do with the competition and demand. So, patience is virtue here.

Just a heads up, I'd be cautious about posting your keywords and domain here. You may be opening yourself up to a lot of unwanted competition.

I would keep slowly building links to your site man. Like most people said seems like a part of the new panda update.

But the answer is always the same, build links, and wait. Not really any other option, as far as SEO goes.

Geeze. I'm having a hard enough time ranking for a 2,100 exact searches a month keyword. TBPO, I wish I knew why you guys target keywords that competitive.

If you have the ability to rank for keywords that competitive, you can make a ton of money targeting local home improvement type keywords, that have far less searches.

I don't sell leads per lead. Every 100 clicks usually converts to 4-5 calls which converts to at least 1 sold job which converts to $1,000-$2,000 commission on that job.

Could you imagine what you could accomplish targeting smaller niches? It makes me sick to my stomach just to think about. I think the real issue is connections. A lot of guys on here don't have the connections to monetize local niches the right way. But if you ever get bored, and want to rank a site in my state, I could make you a lot of money man.

I suck at SEO, but I'm a champ at monetization/sales.

/\ Lol. I always here that on this forum but I think its mostly unjustified. The OP admitted in his post that he picked an overly saturated niche. And any marketer with common sense will stay away from those types of niches.

Even if he did post the domain, what exactly does that open him up to?

Like competitors can't find the domain on their own if they're in the same niche already? And if they're not in the same niche, what are they going to do? Copy his backlinking strategy? Start a new site in his niche to compete against him? Go through all that work for what? To find out they picked a terrible niche? Or maybe they're going to waste the right amount of time researching the niche to make sure the OP knows what he's doing?

It doesn't make sense because the reality is, nothing online is a secret. The only time you should hide info is when you say something like:

"I discovered an unsaturated, highly profitable niche, with no competition".

But those situations are rare. Even if the niche was unsaturated, and highly profitable, and he posted the domain, all he has to do is not mention that fact. Anyone who hasn't done the research in that niche, won't have any clue that its profitable. I realize that people can steal and compete, but why do it based on what someone says here? If people posted their sites on here, the most I'd do is analyze their backlinking strategy to use in my own niche. But as far as stealing their niche... no way. Chances are I don't know a thing about it, and don't really care. Or maybe I'm just too lax in my approach, idrk.

You have to provide fresh content regularly and you have to build trust links, these two things would help come out from Google dance!

SEO is getting very strange. Yesterday we were in the spots 6 or 7 most of the day and we got up to #2.
