How to rank a youtube video?

I'm wondering how I can rank a youtube video (preferrably without paid programs). I know the basics about using tags, description, etc.

What all things can I do to get massive views? (That are known to work and not just someones theory).

    Ranking youtube videos is pretty easy.

    Keyword in title
    High keyword densitivity in your description box, which should be a 500 word article.
    Just a little views/likes do you video via vagex.
    Oh, one more thing, dno if it is essential, but you should put "Today" under "Time recorded:".
    + you might want to send some of the social bookmarks towards your site.

    The only thing you have to worry about is your video quality. Plus, YT admins are pretty strict in banning videos that promote products as an affiliate + videos that are manipulated by vagex views. Anyhow, I have lost couple of grand since the new rules came out.

    Doing all the basics are good and sharing the video in as many places as you can will also get it more exposure. For instance embedding it on your blog or website, sharing on social media, etc.

    These things will get it more exposure but some of the most successful viral videos got so many views because they offered compelling content that people wanted to watch and wanted to share. That “perfect” formula is difficult to articulate.
