SEO Common Practice

Hi all,

I wanted to know if it was standard practice to offer someone to handle a SEO contract not based on Ranking (eg rank me number 1) but based on the number of Daily Visitors. eg - someone may need 500 a day and so the campaign continues until this target is met through your selected keywords?

Thanks

  • Everything is possible when it comes to contracts. Seems like a client wants guaranteed visitors.

However, this is more common practice for AdWords advertising (some agencies charge for clicks directly).

    • Yeah, they could go on fiverr and probably generate a ton of traffic. No way I'd structure a contract like that. You could do something based upon conversions though.
  • Don't you think it would be better to base the contract on the amount of leads the site generates (assuming you want leads)
If you have Google analytics you'll know straight away if you're getting junk traffic.
