Hi warriors, was hoping someone can shed light on new domains and PR ranking.

Purchased new domain 3 weeks ago, started building backlinks on it. It now has PR 1 in just 3 weeks and according to ahrefs.com, has 3 backlinks pointing to it. However 1 backlink is from nyc.gov, so could that be the reason for immediate PR 1?

My concern is that because website is 6 years old, maybe it has bad reputation with Google already. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is firs time when i see a case like that ... The domain seams to be old because i see NS History:
3 changes on 3 unique name servers over 6 years. I check in archive.org and i don't find archived pages. Also i see in ahrefs.com that the site don't get any backlink yet... I see you buy yhe domain on 2013-01-13

When you buy the domain and put your your DNS PR was there or come after a couple of days?

Also please send me in PM page from where you get backlink from this site nyc.gov
