BANNED from Google Adwords - RIDICULOUS! (Rant)

I didn't realize that there was an adwords section of this forum when I posted this thread. I now see the sticky for adword bans, which I will read before posting anything else about it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I set up an adwords account a few weeks ago to advertise a juice fasting ebook. First time trying to use adwords. When I submitted my ad, my account was suspended. Apparently my landing page did not conform to their policy. They gave no explanation of what needed to be changed to make it conform (other than a broad "category" of what was wrong), so I had to call and work with them to get my account unsuspended. I asked the rep on the phone how to avoid this in the future. She could give me no answer. I deleted that page afterwards because I was going in a different direction.

Last week I submitted an ad for my site. My account was suspended AGAIN. I emailed to find out what was wrong and just got an email that said my account was PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED! Again, NO EXPLANATION of what needed to be changed, just a broad category that I broke the rules in. And the wording in their email sounds like they are treating me like I'm some kind of low-life scumbag who is going around trying to scam people or something! When I called to find out what I did wrong THIS TIME, I was blocked from talking to a rep and instead was hung up on by the system after it told me to go to their online help desk and appeal the decision, which, by the way, is not possible according to the email they sent me. How am I supposed to know what not to do if they won't TELL ME?!?

Nothing gets me angrier than being treated like a low-life/spammer when I am NOT. I am an honest person trying to make a living by helping others online, and Google has seen to it that I can't do that using their service.

Is there any way around this? Are there any other PPC networks I can use? Isn't google adwords the king of PPC, and isn't trying to run an online business without it impossible?

I am so mad it's unbelievable.

If you want to know more about Adwords and Adword Bans, read an article by Mr Adwords Perry Marshal called "why google will now un-ban your adwords account".

May give you a hint on why they banned you, and what you could do about it.

    Thanks for the reply!

I didn't realize this section of the forum existed, and I see now that there's a sticky on adword bans. I'll take a look there and see what I can find out.

Shoulda been a clue. A tad bit of research would have went a long way.

If you do have a legit, real business, then why aren't you advertising?
TV, magazines, newspapers, classifieds, flyers, email, mailers,...

FYI: Any other good PPC, like adwords, will have the EXACT same TOS.

If everyone & their brother was able to sell home brewed weight loss ebooks via Adwords, 93.72% of SERP traffic would die within a few years & Google would fade away, lol.

Seriously, Google isn't going to read your ebook, people that sell weight loss ebooks are usually spammers pimping fake crap that does nothing for the buyer. It doesn't matter If your ebook is the best thing since sliced bread, your targeting the same niche that a lot of spammers target. Anybody can create an ebook, but very few people will create something like Weight Watchers (there's a huge difference).

How did you handle the checkout page, was it a doorway page like Clickbank? If it was a checkout like CB Google will knock your account in the dirt faster than you can say WTH?

There must be any reason of ban, you must know the reason, try contacting Adwords and know the reason why it was banned.

Learning is the slowest form of earning! The only way to build an avalanche of cashflow to your bank account is to "Copy & Paste" a proven system. See how this system works. ==> http://www.fastinboxcash.com

I have to disagree with yukon. Adwords does allow ebooks but the condition is that you must provide proof of authorization from the copyright holder.

I wasn't talking about ebooks in general, I was talking about the health niche. When Google starts approving fake health miracles dreamed up by a guy in his moms basement, they create a liability (lawsuits). I'm not saying it's impossible to eventually slip by Google Adword filters (anythings possible), I'm saying odds are they'll deny a health ebook, especially If the landing page makes claims (ex: Lose 127 Pounds on the Krispy Kreme Diet!).

Yep, that Krispy Kreme Diet is so full of shit. They got me with that ebook too.
