YouTube AdSense and paid traffic?

Hello,

I have YouTube AdSense ads on a couple of my YouTube videos and I'm looking to buy some display advertising and pre-roll advertising traffic to those YouTube videos. Will the paid traffic get my AdSense account in trouble? The display and pre-roll advertising will be on legitimate blogs and websites though, no blackhat or bot views.

    Read the TOS and find out.

    My advice would be to send traffic to a page that has the youtube
    video embedded.

    You cannot use paid traffic to pump up pageviews like those
    clowns on fiverr.

    Think long and hard about the kinds of paid traffic google would
    or would not allow. It's not rocket science.

      I agree with Paul, you have to have quality traffic to really make it work.     So long as the traffic is manipulated and they are from REAL human and not bot, you will be fine.

    Read Google Adsense TOS to be sure.

    Excellent to see people have actually read the TOS - far too often the reply is "no you will be banned"

    As long as the traffic is not "paid to click/visit" its perfectly fine - after all every major company runs online advertising campaigns

    The paid traffic cost are usually higher than EPC (earning per click) on Adsense, so this is hard to monetize Adsense with the paid traffic. So free traffic is good way for the Adsense.

    Besides Adsense, you have stuff to promote, there is no problem to use paid traffic as long as you obey the TOS. Make sure that the paid traffic is real human, instead of the bot.

        Stop telling people to buy traffic, DO YOU DO IT?

        Do you buy traffic and send it to your adsense and make $100/day ??

        Then stop giving bad advice, it may be allowed, but the chances of you losing your account goes up dramatically!

        I would not risk it.
