How Do You Register A Site On A Different IP Block?

The only thing that is stopping me from starting my own little network, is that I don't understand how to properly set it up.

I want to buy my first high pr/relevant domain, so I can start backlinking it to my money site.

But what is the right way to do this? And please don't just say "register on a new IP". I know what an IP is, and what registration is , but I have no idea how to register on a new IP. Does that mean to set up new hosting? And if I do that, won't I still be registering on the same IP? (the one my computer uses?)

I'm confused about this part.

Easiest thing to do is to use an seo hosting service. Just google "seo hosting" but look for a few reviews as some have received less than stellar feedback. I personally use SEO Host (no affiliation). They can setup a domain on a separate IP address and separate nameserver.

No. No. No. Stay away from any company that advertises itself as an SEO host.

Red, you are confusing the IP you use to connect to the internet and the IP your website uses to connect to the internet. Two completely different things.

Best way to get a new IP for your site separate from your main website, is to get a shared hosting account with another provider. If you add an additional account with your current host, you might end up on the same IP.
