I am just curious about this for a while now and i want to discuss about this in here.

As you may should know, there are a lot of all kind of plugins, which "helps" you with your SEO rankings.

Also you may should know, that so many people gets punished by google for all kind of things.

So the question would be, don't you think that by using these SEO plugins you just bring the trouble for your website, and sooner or later you can be in trouble with google?

The main SEO plugins like Wordpress SEO by Yoast and All In One SEO do nothing more than allow you to customize items like the page title and description. From Google's perspective, this by itself should actually be welcomed. Google talks about the user experience, and the user experience is enhanced if they know what a website is about by looking at the search results.

Now, if you take those tools are start doing stupid things like keyword stuffing, or if you're site is crap and people bounce after a couple seconds, that's something entirely different.

But legitimate use of these tools helps everyone, and I doubt Google would ever be displeased with that.

It's not the plugins that are the problem, it's how they are used.

For example, if I set my title to:

Best Deals On Cheap Cars | Cheap Car Deals | Cars Cheap | Best Car Deals

    and description to:

Best deals on cheap cars. Check out our really cheap cars and our best deals. Our cheap cars are the best.

do you think that is an intelligent way to improve your SEO? (that's a rhetorical question btw)
