Twitter Backlinks Question

Quick question I hope someone can answer...
I'm using a floating sidebar social plugin on a blog.
When I click the 'tweet' link it opens me up a window to tweet the link.
The link looks like this:
http://mysite.com/my-post/#.UQqwjkJrjmI.twitter
What's with the weird characters at the end?
Looks like some kind of tracking, although the plugin has no tracking feature.
When I visit the URL it takes me to my page just fine.
Now say my tweet gets 100 retweets, is the link juice from those social signals going to go to my page properly, or is that weird code on the end going to effect that?
