What will happen if i post lots of outbound links on my site?

I have had a lot of success with SEO for the most part with my websites and have been lucky enough to achieve some top rankings with classic methods. However i have had a site running for around a month now, and everytime i post an article, there is a high chance i will include a link in the article pointing to another site.

After a while, i am sure to have hundreds of outbound links on my site, is this a bad thing? and will it affect my site in any way?

    well you gota have a combination of inbound and outbound links on your site, otherwise you will may get google penalties. make sure that you also constantly update ur site regulary with unique content

    There's nothing wrong with selectively using outbound links on your posts. As Loopydupe said, having both inbound and outbound links is natural. The question is where do you link. Obviously not to competitors. I like linking to wikipedia, dictionary sites, and other authority sites that aren't actually competitors. But I definitely don't think there's anything wrong with what you're doing. Of course, from a user experience, you have to be careful of sending traffic out of your site.

      A lot of outbound links indirectly lower you site's theoretical PR potential. However, a lot of sites manage to have a very high PR even with lots of outbound links. Try to keep outbound links to your satellite pages and off of your core pages.

      I find that on my sites in most cases adding content, even content that contains outbound links, increases the site's PR rather than decreasing it.

    From a single page, if your outbound link is 100 or more than 100 it may count as link farm. but if you are linking to some relevant content in your post it is fine .
