I am trying to rank my youtube video on first page of google
my main keywords has about " 1,000,000 " Searches on G .
my competition ranks on the first page of G for the main keyword and there is no other Youtube video ranking in there for that particular keyword ..

Any tips will be highly appreciated
i am only looking for whitehat tips - i dont want to buy fiverr gigs etc
i have a VA who does the manual submission for me etc ..

i have researched the keywords well
i have my keyword in title description and video is unique and real

Although i think i have already done one mistake of submitting the same video with same title to more than 50 video sharing site ..

I am doing Youtube+clickbank and my niche has a gravity of 100 .

Can you tell me on what page of G do you find the first youtube video (for your keyword)? If it is within the first 3 pages then try getting some organic views for your YT videos. Once you have more views than this YT video that you found within the first 3 pages, there is a good chance your YT video position increases on G.

Create a playlist, name it using your keywords, put the video you want to rank plus another one of your videos in the playlist.

Work on getting more channel subscribers.

All the rest of my tips would involve fiverr gigs...

      Hope this helps!

If you submited same video then that may be the problem but most likely its not. Just either get a new account or just do the basic fundamental. Come up with a good title two or three keywords, put your keywords in your description and your tags. Make sure you submit your site on reddit and facebook to increase your videos popularity and likes which gives your video more authority within the search engines.

Some stuff that people haven't mentioned:
    Use annotations in your video.
Use annotations to link to OTHER videos (also other channels videos).
Mention other channel videos (and your own other videos too) in the video description.
YouTube likes videos that make people stay longer on YouTube, so linking to other relevant videos is viewed as a positive thing for YouTube (this is official knowledge btw).

Reply to all comments on the video, and try to create as much discussion as possible. The more people keep commenting, the better. Again, YouTube likes videos that keeps people coming back to YouTube. (again, official knowledge)

Set up a YouTube channel named as close to your keyword as possible. Google how to optimize your channel. Most people forget that you can optimize your channel very effectively with excellent results. There are tons of info on optimizing your YouTube video to follow.
If you can spend a couple of dollars, you could get some very 'Google-friendly' gigs at Fiverr to rank it very quickly. Go to Fiverr and type in 'ranking videos' etc.

Google owns YouTube and you can pound YouTube videos with tons of backlinks for excellent results.

Set your channel name to your Niche
Title - keyword | keyword phrase

    Body Keyword url
300-500 word body with 2% density
    Tags with keyword
    video uploaded as keyword
    annotation with keyword
Caption with keyword at beginning and end and 2% thruout

    Get views,Comments,subs,likes
Backlinks if you do not want fiverr ( which I dont use myself I use MS)
    Create some web2.0s,Rss,bookmarks,wikis,edu's
If its still tough use pdf sites,Paid Pr submits

Then lastly make other youtube accounts and tie them to it.

and the poster above is right you can hammer videos as of this moment and it will rank.
    Maybe different tomm.

and if its a offline type of thing set the location!

Youtube videos rank based on whether your have keywords as the file name, in title, tags and description + the number of links pointing at the video. Your video won't magically rank on page 1 of Google for competitive terms unless you have a high volume of links pointing at it. I wouldn't be worried about using 'blackhat' techniques or Fiverr gigs as Google doesn't punish YT videos for pointing mass links / spammy links at them like they would a normal site so you can chuck Fiverr gigs etc at them and not worry about it.

SEO is pretty competitive, and there ARE people using Fiverr and other "black hat" methods to rank, so if your not using these techniques it may be a lot tougher for you to rank.

That said, you don't have to use those techniques in your own SEO.

    Main tips -
Keywords and LSI everywhere (title, description, tags)
    backlinks (social BM + others)
Keep your viewers interested - have good content that keeps your viewer watching, liking, and sharing your video.

If you can get those things done, you should be alright.

    Factors to better video SEO

    • a. Title
      • i. Keyword first, Description, Branding - in that order
        • i.e. Make Money Online - How to Be an online rockstar - Channel Name.
    • b. Tags
      • i. Most important keywords first, then supporting keywords, then branding
      • ii. Get keyword ideas from youtube keyword tool and google keyword tool or by searching for similar videos and Right Click > View Source, then look for "keywords". Those are the tags that video owner used.
      • iii. Use both versions of a "keyword" and keyword.
    • c. Description
      • i. Usage of keyword within the description. Within first few sentences if possible.
      • ii. Usage of supporting keywords within description as well
    • d. Closed Captioning
      • i. Upload texts of your closed captioning to youtube. They're indexed by the youtube search engine.
    • e. Video file name
      • i. Use main keywords in your actual video file
        • 1. i.e. instead of DSC00242.mp4, use Make-Money-On-Ebay.mp4
    • f. Backlinks
      • i. Upload video to other platforms like Vimeo and link to original YouTube video in their description boxes.
      • ii. Link to youtube videos on blog comments
      • iii. Link to videos from your site
      • iv. Etc.

Well your problem is fairly obvious to me.

Which is the fact that you're looking for whitehat techniques... for youtube of all places. :p

I've been doing blackhat on a lot of my videos for the last 6 months, and >>not 1<< video has been taken down or disturbed in anyway. The videos only do 1 thing, which is get me targeted traffic to my website.

And I've been able to rank a large segment of my videos on page 1 using these techniques. Don't read any further if you truely want whitehat techniques. I take the time to make quality videos, optimize them, then blast them with scrapebox.

Additionally, I send all my videos here:

    IMTalk.org - IMT Website Submitter

Then there is another free tool I use depending on the competition level.

Afterwards, I head right over to fiver.

And I use this gig, probably the oldest, most well known fiver gig for YT (no bots involved): Djlobo will deliver 20000 slow real human youtube views and 50+ likes and 30 custom comments and 100+ subscribers and 30+ favorites to your videos for $5, only on fiverr.com

However, depending on how many views / likes your competitor has, you may need to go about it a different way. For my niche / level of competition, that gig always takes me to the top.

Now its perfectly fine if you want to use whitehat, but I merely don't see the point when so many people are succeeding on youtube with blackhat/grayhat. Not to mention, if your competitor is using blackhat, you're going to have a very difficult time competing. You'd probably be suprised to hear that these simple techniques got our business on tv. So apparently CBS doesn't care about blackhat marketing.

At any rate, stick to whitehat if thats what you really want to do.
I have no issues with it, and still use it for many of my videos. Mostly the videos that I have a fair chance ranking with whitehat techniques.

What YouTube video link to you submit to IMT Website Submitter?

From my understanding the back-links go to YouTube's root domain instead of the individual YouTube video?

Show some proof. Bet you can't. Throwing any and every type of software created links at yt videos will have no negative impact. Videos get taken down for things like copyright infringement, etc.
