Hello--

Currently I'm not getting any search traffic from any other search engine other than Google. I get 2 or 3 visits a week from Yahoo! and BING but that is about it.

I have signed up with BING business portal as well as Yahoo local listings.
Is it worth me paying one of those companies to get me listed in all of the search engines?

From my experience it's not worth it. Sorry to say, but other SEs are not worth it. I rank pretty much for all big & small make money online related keywords in bing& yahoo, yet all of them combined don't bring me as much traffic that a few long tail ranking on google bring me.

Maybe others have different experience, but that's what I see.

Not worth it. I you have a keyword that has lets say 1000 local hits on google, them will be 100 or less on bing ( for example).

I personally focus only on google about organic traffic.

My 2nd best source of SERP traffic is from ask.com, which they're basically brown nosing Google (lol).

I think ask.com scrapes the main SERPs & displays the top ranked pages from major SERPs, so If your ranked #1 on Google SERPs, the same keyword/page will be ranked at the top of ask.com, at least that's what I've seen with my own main keywords while looking at ask.com.

    Example (not my keyword):

Google - sugar free ice cream recipes
ask.com - sugar free ice cream recipes
    • On Google SERPs cooks.com ranks #1.
    • On ask.com cooks.com ranks #2

This example ranked page is a random search phrase I picked, kinda funny that it's a search page on cooks.com.

I see a very consistent pattern on my own keywords & ranked pages.

ask.com also gives you a bunch of related search phrases to test.
