I have monetized my site with adsense. Now I have started placing one or two links within the contents of my each post to related Amazon products pages having my amazon associate code. However, I am not expecting much amazon sales.

My question is : Will google dislike linking of my posts to amazon site, keeping in view that I m having google adsense ads on the same posts. Will by serp / pr of my posts suffer on account of this.

I think Adsense will ok with it. But don't over do it. You should not create content to get Amazon sales. Then it'll be fine

That's a bit of a ridiculous statement to make. How is Amazon one of the most popular affiliate programs then? What's wrong with writing reviews and helping people come to a decision? And why would Google care if a small time publisher mixed Adsense with Amazon?

I'm speaking from experience, BTW who's talking about what's the popular affiliate network? I was just telling him not to over promote amazon. You got problems with it?

          Define "over promote"...

His question was: "Will google dislike linking of my posts to amazon site, keeping in view that I m having google adsense ads on the same posts. Will by serp / pr of my posts suffer on account of this."

Therefore, I have an issue with you saying that he should take it easy on Amazon just in case his website loses its PR or its position in the SERPS. This is false, and it has been proven time and time again that mixing Adsense and Amazon together would lead to no problems. Why should it? I would love to know your experience...

Saying that Amazon is one of the most popular affiliate networks is relevant, because if there was any chance of a website being hit when promoting their products, then no one would promote them.

Google really is not as evil as people make them out to be. It's just that people lose their rankings for a variety of reasons, resulting in them thinking that Google is out to get them and will only display web pages that will make the company the most money.

I have no problems at all. All my sites are Amazon sites with Adsense ads or vice version.

Use rel="nofollow" in you links, and you'll be okay.
