Multiple Adsense Accounts?

Hello, I fear that someday Google will just ban my account (not doing anything illegal but I heard so many stories), so I was thinking in creating many accounts.. Do they allow to have many accounts to the same name? Or maybe I should use my relatives names...

Also lets say I have my account, and my brother's account, can we use the same bank account to receive payments?

  • Please do not worry as ms adcenter allows you to create many accounts. All you need to do is call their customer service rep and they will tell you this

    You have good reason to fear being banned by Adsense.

    You haven't took the time to read the Adsense TOS that you already agreed to (If you have an Adsense account). Anyone that's already read the TOS knows you get a single Adsense account.

    Good luck winging it, it's easier to read the TOS.

    BTW, a separate business tax ID is not the same as an individual person.
  • You are only allowed to have one account. If you are gonig to get a second account, everything has to be different: address, bank acount, etc.
  • Just the mere fact that they may flag you for multiple accounts may get both of them banned. I've had my account for over half a decade and I've never so much as gotten a warning from AdSense. Don't do anything fishy and you'll be fine. People who get their accounts banned are those who create multiple accounts and abuse the system.
  • I can't imagine any sensible person being banned by Google. That is not the point. Acting out of fear never helps - so develop a strong policy towards Google. That means several streams of income. If (and it is a big if) Google cancels you out, you will have other incomes.
  • I put my second adsense account in my moms name. She loves the little extra income. =)
  • You should not fear getting banned, as long as you are not doing anything against Adsense TOS.
  • I have a few adsense accounts, but I have a run different companies. Best to make sure it's completely independent on each other. Different names, locations, numbers, EIN etc...

    BTW... be careful putting adsense in another persons name unless they fully understand the tax ramifications; especially in the U.S. It would be a big surprise to some people getting a 1099 in the mail from Google for making $8,484 in 2013. lol

    • There are a few ways:
      1. get another in the name of a family member or person you trust (although this could bring tax problems if you start making money on it)
      2. You can start an LLC for a less than a couple hundred bucks a year. This is allowed by google TOS
      3. if you happen to be living overseas and have addresses in two countries, they do not ask for your SSN if outside the US. Have not tried this one myself though
