very strange thing

so here`s that very strange thing:
three months ago i removed a forum footer link from a pr7 website. that forum gave to my google wmt about 210.000 backlinks.
after two months i had in wmt 204.000 backlinks. two weeks later wmt made an update and i remained with 607 backlinks (in total, 0 from that domain). now wmt made an update and i have again 194.000 backlinks from that domain.
i checked that forum and my links didn't appear there and haven't been added again. what`s wrong with wmt?

There was a widely reported, and Google admitted, bug that appeared in the WMT interface recently - it caused large numbers of backlinks and internal links not to show up in the reports.

Google have been fixing the problem and it now looks like they've finished the job - so you're now seeing the backlinks you should have been seeing all along.
