How many times should I link back to my site?

When I post to a social network site I usually optimize for one keyword, which I make anchor text and link to my site. However, usually there will be multiple keywords that I am targeting in the post. Can I link each one back to the same page on my site, or will the power of the link be dissolved if I link different keywords in the same post to the same page on the same site?

    With any backlinking be it social networks, blogs, deirectories etc...

    I would stick to one backlink per post/submission/bookmark (maybe 2).

    Well yeah kinda - Not because you are using different anchor text but because having multiple links coming from one page isn't that natural (especially from a social bookmarking site). Like I said you could get away with 2 but personally I stick to just the one.

    You could perhaps link to 2 different pages of your site in one submission. This is a little more desirable but still less effective than 2 seperate submissions.

    This is just my take - others may have a different few.
