One bit of advice on SEO that hasn't anything to do with SEO at all.

Answer the questions your traffic is asking. Then make one canny move: find out what those questions are. Ask them first, optimize for those - and bingo. Their frustrations are answered immediately - because your page is optimzed for the question they're asking. Your follow-on page deals with all the answers to their question (which everyone else is optimizing for!).

After all, who is struggling with the answers? Nobody. So why optimize for them??
