Keep building authority backlinks and adding fresh high quality content. Also use Twitter, Pintrest, Youtube and facebook. Are you using images in your content? If not I suggest using images.

This is exactly it. Only thing I can add is if you're doing anything shady or blackhat that Google doesn't like, stop doing it. It'll hurt your rankings in the end.

Let's put this on its head. Google have always stated that their aim is quality answers to their searchers questions. In my opinion backlinking is seen by Google not by the quality of the site you are linking from - but the quality of the traffic it brings you.

Is your traffic interested in your site? Does it stay around much? All of this will mean you are providing quality content (= quality answers to searcher's questions).

Get quality traffic and you get sales too. It's a no-brainer.

Fresh sites are prone to google dance or rank fluctuation. SEO or Site optimization could take time depending on your campaign and how effectively use them. just remember gather enough excellent links and hold your horses, its not about number of links it always about the quality and uniqueness of your link.

How have you been optimizing your site? It would be a great help if you told us.

I would suggest building more backlinks, varying your anchor text, and building more backlinks.

But it's hard to say without knowing how your backlinks have been in the past.

Your site lacks quality content & real value to users:-Search engines constantly improve their search algorithms. In that process, more and more low quality websites have lost their rankings and traffic to quality websites that have better content & provide more value to their users.

    2. our site uses black-hat SEO tricks:-If you have used black-hat SEO tricks, now is the time to confess. Remove all those tricks and use tools like Google Webmaster Tools to send a message to Google "I have cleaned my site. Please verify". If you are lucky enough, Google will forgive you and reinstate your good rankings and traffic.

    3. Your site uses SEO tactics that are no longer compatible with today's search algorithms:-There was a time when Page Rank (PR) had a big influence on search ranking. So the SEO specialists usually found high-PR websites and create the back-links to their websites and saw the rankings go up. That was a valid SEO strategy then, but today it has little effects. Header meta tags like "keyword" tag, "description" tag used to be important for search engines to evaluate a site. It is not the case any longer.

    Greetings Aaronbenny,

This is a problem that may have been caused by several different factors. You may never know the exact cause. At this point the best option is to spend your time rebuilding your website and trying to achieve the rank with Google and others your site previously had.

    1. Quality Backlinks

Building quality backlinks, including related contextual backlinks, and keeping them updated is at the top of your priorities if you want to once again boost your rankings. Avoid backlinks associated with spam of any kind.

    2. Accurate Web Content

Make sure the content of your site is thorough and accurate, corresponding to what your website visitors are searching for.

    3. Guest Blogging

Even though writing blog posts for back-links requires your efforts and time, it can help boost rankings of your site.

    4. Social Media

Join as many Social Media sites as possible; Social Media Sites are one of the fastest ways to increase your rankings with Google and others.

    5. Directory Listing

List your site on at least 15-20 directories. The will make it much easier for people to find your website and also increase your rankings in the process.

New websites are sometimes affected by The Google Dance. However since you mentioned your's was a "progress trend" and not a sudden jump to the top followed by a large drop in rankings, then I doubt your problem was caused by The Google Dance.

These measures should help solve your problem.

You need to identify first the reason why that certain issue arise. You can check your analytics stats and see if there’s some reason why traffic is down. Decrease in traffic often occurs when a site has low-quality content (poor spelling and grammar, articles which are irrelevant to your niche, offers no value to the readers), overoptimized keywords and duplicate content. Remember, Google wants only the best for the readers. Update your website frequently by adding fresh information and making it more appealing to Google and human visitors – (1) Make your site easy to navigate for better user experience; manage the number of pages Google can crawl and index – edit the robots.txt and tell the spiders which pages to crawl and not to crawl. (2) Consider putting informative, useful and well written content to your site. You can have fewer pages with good quality content than many pages with poor content. Delete dup content, if any.(3) Optimize your site but don’t over optimized. Don’t focus on too many keywords. (4) Make sure to build backlinks from relevant sites with good quality. As a whole, if your site has good quality structure and content that you consistently update, you won’t have to worry about penalties.

You are getting all kinds of advice here (some good, some bad) but you FIRST need to find out WHY your site went down. What if you have too many anchor text optimized links? Building more of them (even on high pr sites) will only hurt you even more.

Don't blindly build links, pull some reports and try to figure out exactly when and why your site went down and then you can make a valid plan from there.

Google sets new update whatever reasons, whatever problem, and whatever issue you encounter, everyone has the same problem, How to TOP the search engine...

Which is the best option you have?? A website with the most backlinks rank highest in search engines.

Getting to the top rank takes time, use all tools in checking your links and your rank and even updates in new rules, but the only thing you need to consider is you should have effort on building quality links and make sure you do not spam and all your links should look natural because if google detects you have a bot type links then surely they will penalize your site.

A book about killer link building was one of the guidelines I read all about SEO. This has simple explanation that can catch up details about practices of SEO specially about backlinks.

I can share it to you for you to get a better results in your ranking by reading the book and go over with the topic which focuses on how getting one link of a High PageRank source can carry much more weight than a low PageRank source.
