I Love Adsense

I have had a few sites that make a little money over the last couple years.

My best makes maybe 8 or 10 a month avg. The site has not been touched in over 2 years.

It's alot of fun to go out and check out what's going on.

I can't imagine how much fun it must be for sites that are making some serious cash.

My experience says that I'd have to have a ton of sites to make a living at it. Ofcourse, higher paying ads would help but when I've tried for higher competition words, thus higher paying clicks, I've not had any success getting the traffic or getting any clicks.

Every once in a while I get a dollar click through one of my sites.

I would love to have a site that attracted those dollar clicks all the time. :-)

    Hehe, I was also excited first at their pennies. Now I removed that adsense from my new site. You better do some business.

        Depending on what niche you are in you could try clickbank and amazon. There are many other affiliate programs. You may make more promoting products because you want more than pennys yeah?

          Yeah, affiliate programs are great. Especially multi-level ones. It takes time to find the right company though. Many products have too much competition, low demand, or just... don't sell well. Partly, it's about luck.

    You already know the niche is key to getting higher CPC, so change the niche. Your not going to get $1 clicks on something like a recipe site (example) because Adwords guys are most likely only bidding a few cents in the first place.

    You have to look at what the Adwords guys are bidding, example higher education niche pays good, especially compared to something like a recipe niche (example).

    Who says you can't bank hundreds of thousands of dollars from
    adsense with one site.. It's very possible but just crafty.

    To know how much you are likely to earn per click
    use the "contextual targeting tool" in the "Tools and Analysis" area
    rather than just looking into your adword and viewing the CPC there
    which is meant for adword users..

    Clickbank and Adsense is a great choice for a lot of niches! But working as an affiliate will help you earn a lot more income than only Adsense!
