  • It will take time, especially if this is your first campaign. I presume you are sending traffic to a landing page instead of the offer straight? You could be losing out on some good sales if you are not doing that....

    • As a rule of thumb I like to go to 300 clicks. 100 is not often enough to determine for certain if the offer will fail. With 4 order form impressions you could still have a profitable campaign on your hands.

    • Where are you sending the traffic? To a squeeze page? Sales page? Your sales page? What does your sales page look like? Are you capturing leads?

  • Send PPC traffic to a squeeze page and collect their email before sending them to the offer page. Otherwise you're wasting your money.

You want to be able to follow up with the same people. Otherwise they come once, bounce, and never buy.

First of all, if you're using AdWords and linking to a hoplink, you're breaching the terms of service and may get your AdWords account closed. I appreciate that you didn't say that this is exactly what you're doing - just checking that you've read the terms of service!

You're not allowed to send Google AdWords traffic to a squeeze page either.

It's very important to read terms of service yourself, rather than just taking "forum advice" on questions like this.

It's extremely unlikely that you'll sell more than the very occasional, semi-random product that way, and there are reasons for this. There are many viable ways of selling ClickBank products but, for most people, most of the time, this isn't one of them. This post may help you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

    • Nonsense. Most Clickbank products violate the Adwords policies. But some are just fine.

I can run PPC campaigns with affiliate links. No problems.

Start with Bing though - Adwords is more nuanced.

  • Are you sending the traffic to a squeeze page and building your list or are you sending the traffic directly to the squeeze page?
  • Tried direct linking, got ad disapproved within an hour. Guess that settles that question.

    • Just Because You Can...Doesn't Mean You Should.
  • I have given up on adwords and moved to bing / yahoo. Capturing leads can also be very difficult with google PPC, I think they hate IMers :-/
  • You should also expect one conversion in 100 clicks.. and you should be ready for this, if your budget allow, you can test some ClickBank products and go with one which pays you money.

    • A 1% conversion rate for ClickBank from PPC traffic is VERY optimistic.

  • It is worth the money if only the product is popular enough to break you into a profit!
  • Using one way to do something does not constitute a business plan. Advertising on Google's ppc program ONLY is not considered marketing especially when you know they discourage it.

Vikram 73 states: "Most Clickbank products violate the Adwords policies. But some are just fine." Assuming for the moment this statement is accurate, determining which products violates Adwords policies has to be tested. Just because you can... doesn't mean you should.

There are plenty of other ways to drive traffic to your affiliate site... that violates no one's policy.

I have been a member since 2009. I didn't do many post because I see how heated conversations get when someone is trying to help.

So,when I saw people driving off a cliff I never said anything because most want to bite your head off when you try to save them. Instead, I used them for my entertainment.

Some may think that method to be counter productive... But I never run out of entertainment because there will be someone else who will come along fairly quickly and drive off the same cliff.
