in blogspot you have to edit the template and ad <h1> tag in head section . Secondly in wordpress you have to edit the header.php file of themes to add these tags .

    Hi.

On the Wordpress "Post" interface - that is to say where you are writing your new post - there is a "visual" editor and a "text" editor. When you are using the visual editor and you want to headline an area, first highlight the area.

THEN go to the styles bar at the top. You have B, I, ABC (struck through). Directly below that you will see a box marked "Paragraph" there is a black triangle (arrow). Click this and you get a drop-down menu with H1, H2 and a few other choices too.

If you click across to the "Text" editor, you will be able to add these manually with <h1> and on to the end of your desired headline and end with </h1>.

Warning: if you add links in the text editor, they may get erased if you change back to the Visual editor. Wordpress have this idea that their editors are different. They are, to my knowledge, alone in asserting this. I have used WISYWYG editors for decades and I was stumped when my links kept getting swatted.

    Hope this helps. M

For Wordpress blog spend $49.00 and get SEOPressor and it will give you H1, H2, H3 tags for your heading. For blogger Try adding tinymce to your blog.

    For Blogger
You have to edit the template. Open up your template and do a search for "h2" and replace the one you want with "h1".

I haven't used blogger in about a year though so I can't tell you more specifically.

    For WordPress
What kind of theme is that? I would dump it immediately and start with another theme that has at least a basic html and on-site SEO structure to it.

You want to edit the title tags in single.php and page.php. Open them up and look for <?php the_title();?>.

Then wrap the header tags around that.
