I have use many directory for submit my links most sites have 3 to 5 pr after approved they will effect on my rank ?

  • Sites don't have PR, pages have PR. And that's very important with directories. The home page of the directory might have a high PR, but what is the PR of the page that your link is on? Often it's much less than the home page PR, often times it might even be 0 or N/A.

    I personally do not submit to directories any more. I don't think they are worth the time. Some might have a little bit of worth but overall I don't think they have a lot of value these days.
  • Links from spammy directories are only waste of time. Silver is right. You might want to check really close the PR of every page of those directories before you submit.
  • I think directory submission is not working for a website now after the Google's recently updates.

    • Hi, i just used directory to boost my site. and yes it look great for my site.
      But i still have some questions:

      I have bought an aged domain and just default post ( or 1 unique post, i just dont remember) and buying approved directory submission. After 1 month, i started to post more and more contents and it getting more traffic for a site which has small content

      Now my questions:
      1. Do they (Directory links) bring me the traffic
      2. or Aged domain as a factor of getting traffic?

      I will test on my other amazon associates projects.
